I was previously a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Amazon Robotics. While there, I worked on four projects from concept to production and learned an incredible amount. I cannot share detailed information due to my NDA, but some broad highlights include:

- Leading the mechanical design team for apparel storage and automation at a first-of-its-kind robotic warehouse. I learned how to project scope and leverage different skillsets.

- Designing three warehouse workstations for Amazon workers, where I honed my sheet metal and welded part design skills. I was humbled later on when I fabricated welded parts myself for Cirque.

- Working with international suppliers to co-design and develop new technologies. I earned trust and rapport with external stakeholders.

- Being the subject matter expert for robotic wheels and traction. I was called in to help evaluate the root cause analysis of a wheel failure.

- Proven commitment to development with two promotions within five years to senior engineer. I continue to mentor junior engineers, especially under-represented minorities in STEM.

- Developing an ergonomic assessment process to be used across all Amazon Robotics products to ensure safe and comfortable conditions for Amazon warehouse workers.

- Spearheaded Amazon Robotics’ first Life Cycle Assessment process, resulting in the creation of a new sustainability team.
